Christina Morgan


Christina Morgan is from Ismay, Utah, and is a proud member of the Navajo Nation. She received her associate of art and science degree at Utah State University Blanding Eastern and a bachelor’s degree in biological and environmental science from the main campus in Logan, Utah. Christina graduated as 2022 Undergraduate Researcher of the Year for the Instructional Technology & Learning Sciences (ITLS) program, a recipient of the Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship, mentored students in the Mentoring & Encouraging Academic Success (MESAS) and Native American Summer Mentorship (NASMP) Program at Utah State as well as K-12 students of the American Indian Services (AIS) summer program at USU Eastern Blanding. She gained four years of experience in Biological Engineering Nanoparticle research to help crops become drought-resistant. Christina continues her journey with Utah State as a PhD student in the ITLS program. As a graduate research assistant, Christina works alongside a multicultural team of scholars to develop community-driven design research across many partnerships to support Tribal communities in Northern Utah and Indigenous knowledge and narratives in K-12 classrooms and curricula. Her hobbies and interests include advocating for multispecies justice, website & logo designing, finding cute coffee shops to study in, and valuing people’s life experiences and stories.
