Hello friends! My name is Tifiny Mills. I am a citizen of the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe based in Southwest Colorado, where I grew up. My mom is a mix of European descent, and my dad is Ute.
Gaining knowledge to share with my people back home has always been a fire that has burned inside me, and working with the CLASP Team has added wood to that fire. I am very grateful and appreciative for the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful team as an undergraduate research assistant.
I love the sunshine, soaking in the sunshine at the lake, the freshness of the earth after it rains and the smell of wet dirt.
