Jenn Yazzie


Jennifer is a doctoral student in the Clinical-Counseling Psychology Ph.D. program at Utah State University (USU) in Logan, Utah. Originally from Window Rock, Arizona, she is a member of the Navajo Nation and is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive clinical services to Native communities. Her research focuses on the effects of historical trauma on Indigenous populations and her other endeavors include co-coordinating the Society of Indian Psychologists Retreat and Convention with her advisor, and providing clinical and supportive services at USU. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, and later completed a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
